The Vatican is open to tourists and visitors from all walks of life, regardless of their religious beliefs.

Here’s what you need to know:

The Vatican is open to the general public: Contrary to popular misconception, the Vatican is not exclusively reserved for religious visits.

While it is the center of the Roman Catholic Church and a place of worship for Catholics, it is also a renowned historical and cultural site that welcomes visitors from around the world.

As long as you follow the rules for visiting the Vatican, anyone can explore its treasures.

Can Anybody Visit the Vatican Museums?

One of the main attractions in the Vatican is the Vatican Museums, which house a vast collection of art and artifacts from different periods of history.

These museums are open to the public, and anyone, regardless of their religious affiliation, can visit and appreciate the masterpieces on display.

The Vatican Museums include most of the best things to see at the Vatican including the Sistine Chapel, the Raphael Rooms, and the Gallery of Maps, among many others.

Can Anybody Visit St Peter’s Basilica?

St. Peter’s Basilica: St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world and one of the holiest sites in Christianity, is also open to the public.
